Frequently asked questions about connecting your fitness data and getting the most out of your AI Health Coach.

My health data is not being recorded by AI Health Coach

If your data is not being recorded, please reconnect your device and re-authenticate your account. This usually resolves most data syncing issues.

I got a new fitness device

If you've acquired a new fitness device, you'll need to reconnect and authenticate your device with your Fitbit account to continue tracking your health data with AI Health Coach.

AI Health Coach has stopped working

If the service has stopped working, simply send a "hi" message in the chat to reactivate the connection. This will prompt the system to check your connection status.

I didn't receive my email confirmation

Please check your spam or junk folder for the confirmation email. If you still can't find it, you can request a new confirmation email from the login page.

I requested a password reset but didn't receive an email

Check your spam or junk folder first. Email filters sometimes categorize these automated messages as spam.

My Fitbit account is already used with another account

If your Fitbit account is already connected to another AI Health Coach account, you have two options:

  • Use your original AI Health Coach account that's already connected to this Fitbit
  • Create a new AI Health Coach account with a different email address

Is my health data secure?

Your privacy is important to us. We only access the data necessary to provide our Service and analyze your Fitbit data to generate insights and summaries. We do not store your personal Fitbit data on our servers longer than necessary to provide the Service.

Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate analyses, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the data provided by Fitbit or the insights generated from that data. Our Service should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

How does AI Health Coach access my Fitbit data?

To use our Service, you must authorize AI Health Coach to access certain data from your Fitbit account through Fitbit's OAuth 2.0 authorization process. You control what data you allow us to access, and you can revoke this access at any time through your Fitbit account settings.

Can I use AI Health Coach with other fitness trackers?

Currently, AI Health Coach works exclusively with Fitbit devices. We're constantly working to add support for more fitness trackers and smartwatches.

How do I integrate Fitbit with Google Health Connect?

Fitbit now offers integration with Google Health Connect, allowing you to sync your Fitbit data with other health and fitness apps:

  1. Make sure your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version
  2. Open the Fitbit app on your Android device
  3. Tap on your profile picture or icon
  4. Scroll down and select "Health Connect"
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to enable data sharing

Important: After setting up Health Connect integration, please re-authenticate AI Health Coach with Fitbit to ensure continuous data syncing.

How do I integrate Fitbit with Apple Health?

To connect your Fitbit account with Apple Health on your iPhone:

  1. Install or update the Fitbit app on your iPhone
  2. Open the Fitbit app and log in with your Fitbit account
  3. Tap on your profile picture in the top left corner
  4. Select "Add Device" and choose "iPhone"
  5. Follow the prompts to allow Fitbit to access Health app data and track steps
  6. Select which health metrics you want to sync between Fitbit and Apple Health

Important: After setting up Apple Health integration, please re-authenticate AI Health Coach with Fitbit to ensure all your data is properly synced and analyzed.

When do I need to re-authenticate AI Health Coach?

You will need to re-authenticate AI Health Coach with your Fitbit account in the following situations:

  • When you add a new Fitbit device to your account
  • After integrating Fitbit with Google Health Connect
  • After integrating Fitbit with Apple Health
  • If you change your Fitbit account password
  • If you haven't used AI Health Coach for more than 30 days

Re-authentication ensures that AI Health Coach maintains proper access to your updated health data and continues to provide accurate insights and recommendations.
